Introduction
This table lists system events that are logged for auditing purposes. This includes login events and actions such as deleting views.
Fields
In addition to the common fields, the Event Log Table includes the following fields
Action
The action is the event being logged. For example, “job error”, “login”, “delete job”, “drop table”.
Parameter 1
Additional information about the event. For example, error message or IP address.
Parameter 2
Additional information about the event. The type of information is different for different types of events.
Parameter 3
Additional information about the event. The type of information is different for different types of events.
User
The user who caused or experienced this event. The user field is a reference to the user in the user table.
