Overview
Calculated Values and Calculated Columns allow you to compute and display new data based on data that's in your pivot table. While we describe these features in terms of the pivot view, please keep in mind that these features are equally available for chart views.
Calculated Values
Calculated Values are calculated value fields based on other value fields. When we say "value" fields, we refer to the fields that go in the value area of the pivot.
