Overview

The View Editor resides in the sidebar and is displayed when you click the "Edit" button in the viewing area.

The main purpose of the View Editor is to select fields for the view and control view field settings. The View Editor has different options based on the type of view and in the case of a chart, based on the type of chart. The View Editor has additional options such as sorting based on the type of view.
